Argo: Argo Fuck Yourself

Argo Poster
A new Ben Affleck's movie. By the way, he is also the director of this movie. Based on a true story. Realistic and absolutely astonishing film.

The Story

This movie uses Iranian Islamic revolution as a background story. There were six US diplomats trap in the havoc of Iranian Islamic revolution. Tony Mendez, a CIA agent, proposed a plan to rescue all of them by creating a fake movie. Mendez's plan was to cover-up these six diplomats as film crews in duty for a survey for their movie. This movie called 'Argo', a science fiction film. They picked-up Iran as one of the candidates for the movie venue.

However, Mendez needed to prepare these diplomats to be undercover agents in order to slip them off from Iran's territory. The situation worsened since the Chief of Staff halted the mission. In the end, they were able to pass the Iranian revolutionary guard in airport to flown away back to the United States.

Argo successfully created a gradual heart-beating situation from the beginning. The opening of this movie is also not bad. It gives a good description about Iran chaotic condition at that time.Furthermore, Argo has a strong punchline that would be remembered in the future: Argo fuck yourself! The ending-song (Hace Tuto Guagua by Familion) is magnificent. It creates a touchy moment for the viewers. Well done!

The Cast
John Goodman and Alan Arkin
Ben Affleck''s role combination, as a main cast and director, is well taken. Nevertheless, his acting in this movie is quiet rigid. On the other hand, Alan Arkin (Lester Siegel) and John Goodman (John Chambers) are the refreshers in this awesome movie. They liven up the movie through their conversations. Moreover, their acting as senior hollywood players are outstanding.
Victor Garber (left)

In addition, Victor Garber's (Ambassador Ken Taylor) acting is noteworthy. He is able to present panic situation without too much talking, just with his eyes gesture.

Conclusion
A-must-see movie this year. If you watched Skyfall, then this one will make you forget about 007 superiority.
