The Lincon Lawyer

Ah, long time no see fellas! This time I want to give some review about The Lincoln Lawyer. Actually I had watch about a few months ago, but I did not write it on my blog. So, this time I want to share it with you.


The Story
This movie based on novel by Michael Connely.  So the story is start with Mickey Haller the lawyer that used to operate through his Lincoln car around Los Angeles California. Even his car number is NTGUILTY, that shows how confident he is. He has various clients, I don't know why but, all of them are deuchebag. Mick mostly success to avoid them get in jail. Haller also doing some dirty tricks to get classified data from the police to strengthen his opinion in the court.
As he act as defense attorney in the court, his (ex-)wife, Maggie McPherson is the prosecutor in the court, and they much face each other to be a winner in the court.
One day, he got new case. Louis Roulet is accused try to rapped and did some violence to Reggina Campo, a girl yet a hostess. It should be Haller usual case, but it become new conspiracy since this client should be the suspect in his past client case, Jesus Martinez case which Jesus already get in jail because accused murder Donna Ranteria.
Things get worst since Frank Levin, Haller investigator found dead by a shot from stolen Haller's old pistol. Haller caught in the conspiracy that could ruin his life and family.

The Cast

Matthew McConaughey played as Mick Haller. He was played at his best as a californian, criminal lawyer, successful yet lovely father and selfish husband. Ryan Phillippe get his role as a rich, pampered and butcher young man which always over loved by his mother.
I think the most interesting character in this movie was Earl. He is Haller driver, cast by Laurence Mason. He act as a rapper driver almost like 50 cent style. He didn't have much time to appear in the story line, but always give good appearance when he pop-up.


Finnaly, I think you must watch this movie and grab the DVD. Because it is a good movie and it is worthy to be one of your collections.
